Holidays Already

Believe it or not it's time again for those of us who are artists, crafters, etc. to prepare for the holidays. In my opinion, hand-made or personalized items are the best gifts for family and friends.

Hopefully I'll be featuring some of the holiday items my friends and fellow etsians are making soon. For now, here are some of my items.

Where do people find the time to blog?

I'm realizing that finding the time to post on here is more challenging than I thought it would be. I have finished some new items for my shop though. I thought since wedding season is upon us, I would focus on that for awhile.
Here are my new rotating photo boxes for members of the wedding party. They're designed to be painted in any color or patterns.

Busy Mom's

I belong to a great team on Etsy called "Busy Moms of Etsy". I knew that was a team for me just by its name. In addition to running a business I also homeschool. It makes things crazy sometimes, but is also very rewarding. One of the greatest rewards are the others moms that I have met that I now consider good friends. There is a group of us who are moms, homeschoolers and crafters. My hope is to feature them and some of their crafts in the future. I'll keep you posted.

First Blog

Hello, my name is Rhonda Koebel. I have been painting since I was old enough to hold a paintbrush. It is my way to relax and express myself. I see a blank canvas everywhere I look.

At first I gave everything I painted to my parents and then my husband. When both of our homes started overflowing with artwork, my husband recommended I start selling at craft shows. I was very nervous to put something as personal as my art out for the world to see, but after one time of seeing others enjoy my work I was hooked.

I love painting things that are special to people.
Some of my favorite things to paint are people's homes on plates, ornaments, etc.

I also love being able to personalize items. That is why I will do free personalization on any item.

I have three children with three different styles. I enjoy painting things for them that compliment their personalities and can do the same for you or your children.

I have painted landscape art, murals, decor and anything else that I could get my hands on.
